A Safe Place.
At times, a safe place can be in our homes with our families and trinkets that were passed down through generations. Other times, a safe place can be in our own heads with the monsters and obstacles we have created to escape the peaceful noise of others. The noise that consumes our thoughts and actions when we try our hardest, only to be met with disappointment from those we try to please, and the sounds of our quiet homes when we are left alone with our thoughts.
Hello! You might prefer to get to know me through my content so I'll only put the most important things here. I am generally a very private person so these "About Me" pages always feel odd to write, but I understand that connections are important and the only way to connect with people is to share information so here goes. ☺
I am a ghostwriter—under the name Violet Wright—with a focus on non-fiction novels and reference books with a wide range of topics. I also have a fascination with poetry and music lyrics. I have a degree in Philosophy and International Relations, and I write those in title case because I believe in education. I try to use both disciplines in my personal writing as often as possible: It keeps me on my toes.
I enjoy cooking, gardening, playing computer games, reading non-fiction books, spending time with my partner and parrot, writing, and thinking. I also love tea and travel, and I speak to myself constantly. I think it's my way of keeping tabs on my pronunciation and internal vocabulary!
Being a ghostwriter has helped me connect with people in ways I never imagined and the stories my clients and I have shared will be with me for the rest of my life. All of us want to share our story but not all of us know how to write! Being a ghostwriter lets me write stories of people and events I wouldn't have thought of for myself, and it gives you the opportunity to see your name on a book. I can't wait to write for you!

Started writing for myself in 2000.
What started as a memory from a dream became a poem, and from there my creativity in poetry and short stories grew. I knew that my imagination held the answers to questions I didn't know to ask (yet), and 20 years later, I started writing professionally as a ghostwriter. The confidence I gained from happy and encouraging clients helped me branch into my own work, and this is where we are now!

B.A. General: Philosophy and International Relations
I chose a B.A. General to help me combine the two topics I am passionate about: Medical ethics and propaganda. These two topics are more entwined than most realise and I plan to further this research once I complete my Masters.
History is my third love and with these three disciplines, my understanding of those around me and what makes us human—regardless of what we look like or believe in—knows no bounds.

Started writing professionally in 2021.
I started as a freelance ghostwriter in 2021, and these four years have been the best years of my writing career. From great customers to online courses I took to improve my writing and dialogue, I can't express how easy it was to relate my personal experiences to my writing. From short stories of 2000 words, web novels, poetry, and recipe books, to 50,000-word research-intensive manuscripts, I use my natural and learned writing capabilities to the full extent.
