Seasonal Prizes (from Instagram).

This is for the Seasonal Prizes game on my Instagram page. The rules of the game are stated in my highlights but here they are again, with additional information.

1. Every global holiday, from Eid to Earth Day, from Passover to Pride, is a chance to learn something new—and win a seasonal prize! With more than 100 unique international celebrations, I’ll have a Seasonal Prize for everyone in no time.

2. Keep an eye on my stories and posts throughout the year. On each holiday—religious, cultural, or international—I’ll drop a Seasonal Celebration quiz in a poll for you to vote for the correct answer.

3. If you have an additional celebration or festival in your town that isn’t part of the list—found in the website link—please leave a comment on your festival/celebration and I will look into adding it to the roster.

4. Anyone can answer (and feel free to answer and broaden your knowledge if you have to look the holiday up!) but only the first five people who answered will be considered for the quiz.

5. The winner of the Seasonal Prize will be announced one week after the quiz for that holiday/celebration is created and as a winner, I will give a shout-out in the comments section, and you can also request a specific recipe or an Influential Ethics article (both from the website) for the following week.

In this section, I will focus on holidays across the world from as many different cultures as possible! Since there may not be a specific holiday on the Seasonal Prizes day, I will post about the respective holidays on Wednesdays itself, as well as the holidays before and after that Wednesday throughout the week!

This is how the game works:

Every Wednesday, I will update the Instagram highlight with basic info about each festival or holiday from the respective week (shown above in the heading), and you will need to answer questions about the festivals I write about on those days. All the information for the festivals will be provided below in the Week strips below (from week 36 which is when I started the game), until the end of the year at week 52.
The information will be easy to follow and I'll explain where necessary if there are complex ideas and reasons. If you struggle to understand any of the text, please drop me a message using Wix chat and I'll clarify any questions you have and change how I wrote that piece to avoid confusion in the future.
On the following Tuesday (before the next Seasonal Prize post and when I post No–One Says and No Follow Advice about ghostwriting), I will post a simple questionnaire for each holiday or festival that occurred that week based on what I write on this page.
You can pause the Instagram story to think about and write your answer and when you have your answers, please DM me on Instagram for your submissions. The winner of the Seasonal Prize will get a shout–out in the comments section for that week's prize and as the winner, you can request a specific recipe and/or an Influential Ethics article or topic (both from the website) for the following week.
