Are My Recipes Easy to Follow for Beginners?
  • Yes!
I understand that cooking and food preparation may not come as easily for everyone. We all had to start somewhere! For this reason, my recipes will start out as easy in the beginning, with more complicated (but not too complicated!) recipes to follow as the weeks pass.
If you feel my recipes or directions are too complicated for beginners at the start, please get in touch with me at write.remedy.vial.blossoms.klp@gmail.com and I will change my recipes or directions to ensure everyone can follow my recipes, regardless of their culinary expertise.
Can I (As the Reader) Request a Specific Recipe, Topic, or Political Issue to Be Covered?
  • Absolutely!
If you have a recipe you would like me to write about/test, I would be happy to do so. Additionally, if there is a special festival coming up in your family and/or culture you would like me to look into and make specific foods for the occasion, I’m all plates!
If you would like a bioethical or philosophical topic to be discussed, please contact me and I’ll see what I can do. I am comfortable with any topic in these fields, however timing is very important.

Let's look at a few examples:
  • Publishing an article on abortion ethics during the Christian Holy Week (leading up to Easter) might be considered insensitive. During this time, many Christians reflect on themes of life, death, and sacrifice, which could make the timing seem provocative or disrespectful to their faith's sanctity and life principles.
  • A similar effect could occur in predominantly Muslim countries if the article were published during Ramadan, a month emphasizing compassion, fasting, and spiritual reflection.
  • An article on end-of-life care ethics during Yom Kippur, a day of atonement and reflection in Judaism, could seem callous. For observant Jews, this period focuses on moral accountability and the sanctity of life, which may make such a topic feel out of place.
  • Releasing an article regarding the ethics of selective embryo editing for avoiding disabilities shortly after the Paralympics might appear insensitive. The timing could seem dismissive of their athletic potential and dignity as people instead of “a person with a disability" which often has the effect of removing their autonomy.
Etc.
Do I Have Any Credentials in Bioethics, Politics, and English?
  • Yes!
I completed a B.A. General with Philosophy and International Politics as my majors in my third year. In my final (third) year, my applied philosophical course was bioethics (medical ethics in some countries). For International Politics, my applied course was conflict resolution through diplomacy and propaganda techniques.
As part of my degree, I also took English and English for academic purposes to increase my level of understanding of different mediums like poetry, speech writing, and political/philosophical phrases and jargon to write philosophical or political pieces with purpose.
In the near future, I plan to complete my Honors and Masters in both Philosophy (with bioethics) and International Relations (with propaganda theory and practice) with an optional certification of an Ethics Officer to expand my horizons. As my level of education increases, so will my topics, level of depth for each topic, and my exposure to people who can help my educational and real-world understanding of my environment.
