Do I Charge by Time Spent on the Project or By Word Count?
-
I charge by word count, not time spent on the project. My schedules for your book/s may take weeks (for large projects like 80,000 words and up) and assigning payment due to time spent would add up very quickly.

How Many Drafts Do I Create Before the Final Version?
If you are happy with the content and tone at this stage but would like minor changes, I write the final draft with those changes in mind. If, at this stage, you would like greater changes—the tone of the book, type of research used, changes in content, etc.—Please request a revision and I will write a second draft for you to review before I start on the third and final draft.Any minor or major change is acceptable and will be completed with the exception of a change of the point of view (first person POV to third person POV, third person POV to second person POV, etc.). These POV changes will change the entire dynamic of the book so it’s important to discuss any point-of-view recommendations and style choices before I start writing.
How Much Time Does It Take Me to Complete a Project (Ghostwriting and Otherwise)?
-
This depends on the type of project, and all stated times begin the day after I receive the first payment (either the deposit or the first installment for a book).
-
For the beta-proofreading services, it takes me a day (12 hours) to read and edit 15,000 words.
-
For the book descriptions, it takes me two days per book description.
-
For manuscript outlines, it takes me five days per outline.
-
For the poetry service, it takes me one day per short (one page or less) poem and two days per long poem (more than one single-sided page).
-
For the recipe service, it takes me a day to write five recipes for humans and two days to write five recipes for pets (regardless of the type of pet).
-
For the ghostwriting service, the time it takes me depends on how the word count of the book. I write 1000 words a day on average from Mondays to Thursdays, and I add five days before I start writing to focus on the research, heading placement, and any instructions from you if required, and a day for referencing and the reference list once the book is finished.
For example, if I write a 30,000–word book, it will take me 28 days to complete the book: Five days of preparation before I start the book, ten days of writing, and a final day at the end for the references.
What Happens After the First Draft Is Complete?
-
I will contact you stating the first draft is complete and we can discuss any changes to the content or style of writing at this stage.
