Instagram: Quiz Rewards

1. How Does it Work?​

• Each quiz—Seasonal Prizes and Caption Find—on Instagram is worth five points per week, with a total of ten as a combined figure. 

• Each winner (or tied for first place) will receive their final score for the week on the channels discussed earlier, with a maximum total of  10 for both quizzes. 

• As a winner, your score/s will be tracked by me (offline), and they will accumulate over time, not just for the month where you won. 

• Once your accumulated score reaches 30 (after three games if you get a perfect score each time), you earn a reward! ​

​You don't need to have a perfect score to be the winner, just more than the others for that week.

2. The Streak & Reset Rule

•  A streak means winning two or more Seasonal Prizes and Caption Find quizzes in the month (half of the games in a month, or more).

• There are up to four games per month (one each week), with eight quizzes in total.

• If you lose your streak, your points from that month aren't noted (or accumulated), but your previously accumulated score is kept safe.

• If you lost your streak in a previous month but won the current month, your winning score will be added to your accumulated points and the game continues as normal. ​

There is no further penalty for losing a streak more than once. 

3.  Leader board & Transparency

• I will post the winner (or winners in the case of a tie) on an Instagram story the day before the new quiz starts (Wednesday for the Seasonal Prizes quiz on Thursday, and Thursday for the Caption Find quiz on Friday).

• As part of this story, the following will be included:

• Your Instagram handle/name (unless you have given me another name to display).

• Your combined score for that week's quiz (Seasonal Prizes + Caption Find), and

• Your total accumulated score. 

• The closest runner–up will also be displayed as part of the story with the same information (as above) included next to their name. 

• The name of the winner and closest runner–up will also be displayed in the website banner as part of the Header as part of the Verse and Victory wall.

4. Rewards for 30 Points and Up

​

• You can keep track of this via my Instagram stories, or you can ask me how many points you have at any time on Instagram or on the Chat option on the website. 

• Each 30–point mark comes with a reward option. You may:

• At 30 points: Choose a complete recipe–menu theme (not just a single recipe).

• At 60 points: Request a meal weekly plan for any diet or lifestyle, plus pantry and fridge must–haves for the plan.

• At 90 points: Request a specific story for the Web of Knowledge part of the website (the options can be found on the Interactive [ page ])

• At 120 points: Ask me to research any topic for you. I will collect my findings and email them once you provide an email address. I use Harvard referencing unless otherwise specified.

• At 180 points: Request a digital bookmark with a personalized message and an image or outline of your choice.

• At 240 points: I will change your rank to "Devoted to Information" on the Forum and announce it in the banner on this site.

5. Rewards for the Quizzes

​

• As your prize reward, you can choose one of the following:

• A free haiku or cinquain, 

• A 500–word writing coupon, or

• You can name characters in my next Tree of Knowledge story.
